is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization run by volunteers in Tallahassee Florida that has been serving our community and the surrounding communities in our area since 2003. We do not have any paid staff members or board members in our organization, we are all volunteers that have a passion for reducing the overpopulation and the suffering of cats and kittens in our community thru the successful practice of Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), adoption and foster services as well as community education about the care and maintenance of feral cat colonies. We also assist pet owners in our community that need free or low cost medical services for their cats and kittens, free cat/kitten food delivered on a weekly basis, low cost adoptions of kitties and adult cats that we have trapped or have been surrendered by pet owners to our organization, as well as foster care for stray, abandoned and neglected cats and kittens.
IMON was not initially a rescue, it was created to develop a TNR program in Tallahassee. Through our hands-on TNR efforts, we come across LOTS of cats and kittens that are not "feral" and deserve a loving forever home. In July 2015, IMON formalized an adoption program. Through an exclusive partnership with Pet Supermarket, we were finding cats/kittens forever homes. In December 2017, IMON made an agreement with PAWS to do adoption events twice a month.
