What do I do?

Whether you found a pet wandering the streets or lost your beloved child, there are steps to take to make sure your furbaby has the best chance to find it's way home. #DoTheReuniteThing

Step 1: Report the Pet Lost or Found

Create a listing on Petco Love Lost, share on social media, and post around your neighborhood.

Step 2: Check Lost & Found Posts

Step 3: Contact Local Rescues, Vets, & Shelters

If you found a pet, don't forget to contact a vet or rescue to get them checked for a chip.

If you lost your pet make sure your chip is registered and up-to-date.

TO DO LIST:

  • Borrow a trap and catch a cat
  • Check for a microchip
  • Report the microchip as missing.
  • Make a flyer.
  • Post on Social Media
  • Send pics and flyers to vets and Rescues
